The Roof Rider was designed and built using pre-made materials purchased at local stores. The Roof Rider is a sleek, lightweight, portable tool designed and built with the ability to form a slide resistant, level work area on a sloped, shingled roof. With a quick, easy adjustment the Roof Rider can be set to accommodate 8 different roof pitches.

Materials include:

• 2 12x16 hard plastic cutting boards
• 1 steel barn door hinge
• 3 mini levels
• 1 12" piano hinge

The top of the Roof Rider has non-skid tape affixed to it aiding in the prevention of items sliding off.

The Roof Rider also has four various size holes to hold tools or whatever fits.

The underside of the Roof Rider is fitted with a layer of carpet which is the key element in preventing slips off a shingled roof.

The Roof Rider is strong! With its strength harnessed in the steel hinge, the Roof Rider is capable of withstanding some weight. Although sitting on the Roof Rider is not recommended you can feel at ease knowing that while on a roof the Roof Rider will hold level and help prevent sliding of your tools or your one gallon paint cut can or even a five gallon bucket, removing the fear of sliding tools or spilled paint so you can concentrate on the job at hand.
